Felix Posen and David Biale on Cultural Judaism

A special public conversation between Felix Posen and Dr. David Biale on Jewish Secularism was held at Tulane University on March 20th, in conjunction with the 6th annual Posen Conference. Mr. Posen is the chair of the Posen Foundation, which is committed to advancing Jewish education throughout the world; Dr. David Biale is the Emanuel Ringelblum Professor of Jewish History at the University of California–Davis and the editor of Cultures of the Jews (Schocken, 2002). The conversation was an exciting intellectual event: discussion topics included Mr. Posen's efforts to build a library of all the productions of Jewish culture and civilization; and Dr. Biale's intellectual history of Jewish secularism.

The event was held at the Freeman Auditorium in the Woldenberg Art Center on the Tulane University campus.
