Chanukah

Dedications for the Hanukkah Candles

I dedicate this light to life. Without life nothing is possible. May this light shine to help us better the world. Then we and others can enjoy life.

I dedicate this light to my family. My family gives me a place to live, a home and love. May this light shine to remember my connection to my family and how wonderful it is to be a member of this family.

I dedicate this candle to personal freedom. At Hanukkah we remember the national liberation of the Jews in the second century BCE, but for us today personal freedom seems to be as important. May this light shine and give us enlightenment. May this light shine and empower us to free ourselves.
